📖 Εισαγωγή
Τα Smart Contracts (Έξυπνα Συμβόλαια) είναι προγράμματα υπολογιστή που “ζουν” μέσα στο blockchain και εκτελούνται αυτόματα όταν πληρούνται συγκεκριμένοι όροι.
Δεν χρειάζονται δικηγόρο, τράπεζα ή μεσάζοντα – η συμφωνία εκτελείται μόνη της με κώδικα.
⚙️ Πώς λειτουργούν
- Ένα smart contract είναι γραμμένο σε κώδικα (π.χ. Solidity στο Ethereum).
- Όταν συμβούν οι προκαθορισμένες συνθήκες, το contract εκτελείται αυτόματα.
- Η εκτέλεση καταγράφεται στο blockchain και είναι αμετάβλητη.
Παράδειγμα:
- Ένα smart contract μπορεί να απελευθερώνει πληρωμή μόνο όταν παραδοθεί ένα προϊόν.
🌍 Χρήσεις των Smart Contracts
- DeFi (Αποκεντρωμένη Χρηματοδότηση): δάνεια, ανταλλαγές, liquidity pools.
- NFTs: δημιουργία, αγοραπωλησία και μεταφορά ψηφιακών συλλεκτικών.
- Gaming: in-game assets που ανήκουν πραγματικά στον παίκτη.
- DAOs: αυτόματη διαχείριση κοινοτήτων και οργανισμών.
- Supply Chain: αυτόματη παρακολούθηση αγαθών στην αλυσίδα εφοδιασμού.
✅ Πλεονεκτήματα
- Αυτοματισμός → όλα γίνονται χωρίς ανθρώπινη παρέμβαση.
- Διαφάνεια → όλοι μπορούν να δουν τον κώδικα.
- Ασφάλεια → δεν μπορεί να αλλοιωθεί το αποτέλεσμα.
- Ταχύτητα & Χαμηλό κόστος → χωρίς μεσάζοντες.
⚠️ Μειονεκτήματα
- Αδυναμία αλλαγής → αν ο κώδικας έχει bug, μένει για πάντα.
- Πολυπλοκότητα → δύσκολο για μη προγραμματιστές να καταλάβουν.
- Νομικά ζητήματα → τα κράτη δεν έχουν ακόμα ξεκάθαρους κανόνες για smart contracts.
